Welcome to Music with Patrina!

Hi there, and welcome to Music with Patrina! I’m Patrina (or Teacher Pat, as many of my students call me), and I’m so excited you’re here. Whether you’ve just picked up your first keyboard or you’ve always dreamed of playing worship or pop songs at home, this is the space for you!

Since 2012, I’ve been a passionate music educator—teaching in schools, tutoring privately, and more recently, building a growing online community through YouTube and beyond. What started as a way to help my students during COVID-19 has now become a mission: to make learning piano simple, encouraging, and song-based.

What You’ll Find Here

Music with Patrina is all about learning piano through songs you love—especially Christian songs and popular melodies. My tutorials are beginner-friendly and focus on the core of what you need to play confidently: melody, chords, accompaniment patterns, and rhythm.

You’ll find:

  • Free tutorials on YouTube for right hand melodies, chords, and simple accompaniment

  • Printable resources like chord sheets and practice plans

  • A growing library of practice videos and karaoke-style playalongs

  • A Patreon community where you can access piano scores, MP3s, exclusive tutorials, and more

Whether you want to accompany worship, sing and play at home, or just enjoy a new hobby—my content is made with you in mind.

Start with These Free Resources

If you're new here, grab the Beginner’s Guide to Chords (available on my homepage)—it’s a simple PDF that explains major and minor chords with visual diagrams. It’s a great foundation to start playing songs almost instantly.

You can also check out the Christmas eBook, featuring 30+ festive classics perfect for new players, and visit my YouTube channel where new videos are added regularly!

What’s Coming Up

As I continue to build this platform, I’ll be launching more pattern-based resources, medley videos, and themed tutorials. Make sure to join my email list to get monthly freebies, practice tips, and early access to new materials.

Thanks for being here—and happy playing!

With love,
Patrina 🎵
